Is It Justice, or Just Plain Evil?

You know, whenever I hear about things people do which defy all that is fair; things that contradict justice, I am forced to take a second to think about what the motivation is behind those who commit such deeds. Look at the big picture as you point the finger out there. Who are you pointing the finger at? Where is the charge aiming? Do you have justification for your accusations, or are you just a product of the media and the elements of the age? I am forced to conclude that justice is not easily obtained by simply pointing the finger and placing the blame.

Sometimes you need to act and get involved. You must ask yourself things like.... What is the driving force behind 5 iraqis holding down an american and beheading him in front of a live camera? Where is the source of the instigation of such sadistic deeds. Is this necessarily the result of anger fueled by the careless and humanistic nature of undisciplined and poorly trained u.s. soldiers who sexually humiliated and abused Iraqi prisoners? Maybe this isn't as simple as it seems. Maybe if you step back and look at the big picture, you will see that those same prisoners who were sexually abused at the hands of the Americans have either, A) endured much more severe abuse and torture at the hands of their own Sadam Regime, or B) afflicted far worse torture themselves towards their own people at the orders of the Sadam Regime. On the flipside, we have those who prefer to carry out inhumane, sadistic acts of murder towards innocent Americans, in order to let their message be heard.... but was it in response to the Iraqi prisoner sex scandal? That is the question here today. We must examine this case and consider the very nature of those who would viciously behead a person while he is still alive and breathing. We cannot simply write this off as a "simple reaction taken to the highest degree".

Consider this: These very people have been beheading and murdering their own people for centuries, as sheer enjoyment even. So why would we resort to the excuse that our soldiers mistreated a few prisoners, (people who may very well be guilty of worse, if not the same), as the reasoning behind this despicable act of barbarism? That would be too easy. It would be almost like excusing the act.

This was actually, in my opinion, just a glimpse of what these people are setting out to do to more Americans as time goes on. Many more Americans will be lose their lives in the name of "Allah"; in our own borders even, before this madness ends. Terrorism is designed to shock and scare the people of a nation, or society. hence the name "terror". The beheading of Nick Berg is just the beginning of many attrocities we will witness in the future to come. So be prepared as much more bloodshed is in the works.

So wait, let me get this straight... because Saddam did far worse to the Iraqi people, it justifies us torturing them too?

By the by, in regards to your post about loathing mathematics, after reading your blog I have come to the conclusion that you seem to loath spelling and grammar as well.
